DORIS, Was my Youngest Sister, A Loving Wife to Paul, and A Devoted Mother to her 2 Sons, Paul and
Sean.DORIS, Was Diagnosed in 1996 with Hogkinsons Lymphoma, which was treated and she went into
Remission for a time.The Disease came Back again and after More Chemotherapy ,she went into
Remission again and we all thought she had finally won her Battle with the Horrible
Disease,Unfortunately for Doris the Cancer came back for a Third time, but still she endured the
Chemotherapy and the awful after Effects(Sickness) and was once again told she was in Remission,
this was her longest period in remission and we all thought "AT LAST" she had done it.After her
checkups at the hospital which continued for quite some time(checking her bloods etc) she was
discharged and was so Happy. Her HAPPINESS Was shortlived ,as she was feeling ill and went to see
her Consultant, after running some Tests she was told in November 2007, that it had spread to her
bone marrow and there was nothing they could do,I Still Remember that phone call with Doris sobbing
her heart out,And her main Concern was that she wouldn't see her Son Paul getting married the
following June.The doctors tried more powerful chemo and we were all tested to see if we were
compatible for her (if she got through the Chemo) to have a bone marrow transplant.DORI Was So
BRAVE!!!! Right until the Very End.She did Managed to see Paul get married on the 7th June 2008, and
4 days later she was so ill, they took her into Hospital where she FOUGHT For 5 MORE DAYS, YOU WERE
BRAVE ALL THROUGHOUT YOUR ILLNESS DORIS AND I TOLD YOU THAT SO OFTEN, AT LEAST NOW YOU ARE FREE FROM
PAIN, AND ALTHOUGH I MISS YOU SO MUCH, I WOULD NEVER WAKEN YOU TO SUFFER AGAIN.YOU Are My Hero.

God's Heavenly Garden
Sometimes God picks the flower that is in full bloom:
sometimes the rosebud's chosen that we
feel He's picked too soon.
Sometimes the flower is fading with petals
floating down, but God knows the perfect time
to gather flowers from the ground.
There is a heavenly garden in which God takes
great pleasure because He's placed within it the
loved ones that we treasure.
He walks among the blossoms giving them eternal
rest, and I know that it must please Him because
He chose the very best.
